Patty’s is thrilled that the first organizational endorsement of her as a Council candidate comes from the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus. The MWPC is especially symbolic, since Patty’s been involved with women in politics since her college days. Her first campaign volunteer effort was working on her mother’s campaign for local office, and in college Patty’s thesis advisor was the author of Gender Politics, the first major work on the gender gap in voting. Patty’s commitment to the platform of the MWPC is evidenced by work in a range of arenas over the last 40 years.
